By posting your classified ad here, you agree that it is in compliance with our guidelines. We do not wish to censor or police the ads being posted here, nor do we have the time to monitor every posting, but in order to prevent abuses by a few people and to keep this forum comfortable and appropriate for our general audience, which includes people of all ages, races, religions, and nationalities, we reserve the right to remove any ads in violation of our guidelines that are brought to our attention. Therefore, all ads that are in violation of our guidelines are subject to being removed immediately and without prior notice.
By posting an ad here, you agree to the following statement:
I agree that I will be solely responsible for the content of all classified ads that I post under this program and that I will indemnify Classifieds Ohio and its parent company NuWave Media and hold it harmless for any losses or damages to myself or to others that may result directly or indirectly from any ads that I post here. By posting an ad here, you further agree to the following guidelines:
- No foul or otherwise inappropriate language will be tolerated. Ads in violation of this rule are subject to being removed immediately and without warning.
- No racist, hateful, or otherwise offensive comments will be tolerated.
- No ad promoting activities that would be illegal under the laws of the State of Ohio, the United States, or of the state or country of domicile of the person posting the ad shall be allowed.

Any ad that appears to be merely a test posting, a joke, or otherwise insincere or non-serious is subject to removal.

The title of ALL FREE ADS must contain either the name of the item, or a general description of what the ad is about. We will not approve ads that simply say "Great Deal", "For Sale", "Price Reduced", "Wanted", "Look at This!" etc. Following this guideline will help expedite the placement of your free ad.

We do not approve free ads that contain ALL CAPITAL LETTERS IN THE TITLE OR CONTENT. Many consider the use of all caps as "shouting" on the internet. If your intent is to make the ad more visible, ClassifiedsOhio.net offers a very affordable option ($5 for two weeks) to have your ad bolded.

Classifieds Ohio reserves the ultimate discretion as to which ads, if any, are in violation of these guidelines.

Multiple posting for the same item or sale is prohibited. Repeated attempts at multiple posting may subject the users account to be deleted. There is a limited of 10 active free ads per user at anytime.

Posts submitted to an innappropriate category may be deleted. Repeated attempts to submit ads to innapropriate categories may subject the users account to be deleted.

While most of these classifieds are free, some categories require payment. These "paid" categories include : All items in Announcements, Daycare/Babysitting Sections except for Wanted-- All Business Opportunities except for Wanted-- Jobs Offered Section in Employment -- Puppies/Kittens and animals for sale bred for that purpose-- All Real Estate Sections except for Wanted. Attempts to submit ads into paid categories without payment, or attempts to submit these types of ads into innapropriate free categories may subject the users account to be deleted.In addition we do not allow ads for handguns or automatic weapons. Hunting rifles and collectables may be allowed.

There are no refunds for paid ads or paid options. In the event of technical failure on our end, paid ads or ads with paid options may be offered an extended time of listing, or a future credit may be issued at our option.

RESTRICTIONS ON THE POSTING OF VEHICLE ADS - Users are limited to 2 free vehicle postings in a 14 day period. Submissions beyond 2 vehicle postings would have to include one of our "paid options" to be accepted. Lots, dealers or resellers would not be eligible for the two free ads, as they would be considered a "business", and would be charged our regular $14 for 14 day fee per ad.

Any ad posted by a business is subject to a $14 for 14 day fee. A "Business" is any activity that is done regularly on a full or part-time basis to earn a profit. This includes buying and reselling items, MLM's, childcare, handyman services, repair services, breeding of animals for sale, firewood for sale, items wanted for the sole reason of resale (including scrap metal or cellphones) and more. The maximum "adoption fee" for any pet younger than 1 year old is $25. Businesses should place their ads under "Announcements" to pay via PayPal or business ad fees may be paid by mailing payment to: NuWave Media, 121 East Church Street, Marion, Ohio 43302.

Free classified ads are manually approved by our editors and may take up to 48 hours to be visible on the site. Weekends and Holidays may take longer.

Free ads may be placed once every 14 days per item or event. Attempts at multiple posting or re-posting to improve an ads position is unfair to other users. Repeated attempts at multiple posting or re-posting could result in suspension. A "Better Placement" option is available to keep your ad at or near the top of it's category for $10 for two weeks. This may be accomplished by selecting the "Better Placement" option when placing your ad. Payment may be made by PayPal or by mailing payment to: NuWave Media, 121 East Church Street, Marion, Ohio 43302.

Any attempts at circumventing the guidelines above may result in the cancellation without notice of affected accounts and ads.
