It is absolutely free to post into MOST areas of our classifieds (see restrictions/limits below), however you must register. To register, click here. You need not register to view ads.
After posting your free ad, you may decide to make your ad more visible through a variety of paid options. Your ad will be "Featured" on the main page of classifieds and also at the top of it's category page for $15 for two weeks. If you want to keep your ad near the top of it's category, select the "Better Placement" option for $10 for two weeks. You could also "Bold" your listing for just $5 for two weeks. These options are available for both free and paid ads.
We allow one free ad per item for every two weeks, but you may renew your free ad as often as you like! Please, do not make multiple postings of the same or similar ads within our free areas.
IMPORTANT:
The title of ALL FREE ADS must contain either the name of the item, or a general description of what the ad is about. We will not approve ads that simply say "Great Deal", "For Sale", "Price Reduced", "Wanted", "Look at This!" etc. Following this guideline will help expedite the placement of your free ad.
We do not approve free ads that contain ALL CAPITAL LETTERS IN THE TITLE OR CONTENT. Many consider the use of all caps as "shouting" on the internet. If your intent is to make the ad more visible, ClassifiedsOhio.net offers a very affordable option ($5 for two weeks) to have your ad bolded.
Once your item is sold or the date has passed for your garage sale, please log into your account and delete your ad.
We do not accept free listings for semi-automatic or automatic weapons or handguns.
Users are limited to 2 free vehicle postings in a 14 day period.Submissions beyond 2 vehicle postings would have to include one of our "paid options" listed above to be accepted.
Car lots, dealers or resellers would NOT be eligible for the two free ads, as they would be considered a "business", and would be charged our regular $14 for 14 day fee per ad.
Paid ad categories include:
Any ad placed in "Announcements" including event promotion and personals.
Any ad promoting a business or service, including "Business Opportunities".
All daycare and babysitting sections except for "Wanted".
The "Jobs Offered" category in Help Wanted.
Puppies/Kittens and Animals for Sale if animals are bred for the purpose of sale, OR if any dog offered for sale exceeds a $25 "adoption fee".
All Real Estate sections except for "Wanted"
Items solicited for resale including scrap metal, cellphones, animal breeding, etc.
Items, in the judgement of the ClassifiedsOhio.net editors, that constitute a "business", including the resale of new or used items on a regular basis. This may include on-going yard/garage or virtual garage sales, auto parts, automobiles repaired for resale, items purchased at an auction for the purpose of resale etc.

It costs just $14 for a two week run to place an ad in one of our paid categories. You may also make your paid ad more visible by adding one or more of the options listed below.
